Egg Play On Easter Day

Updated: Apr 3, 2018

It’s Abby here! It’s been a while since my last blog post so I thought I’d tell you what we’ve been up to. It’s a new season and it’s time to lighten up in every way! I have a new urgency to dig and chew in my pen. I run double laps around the house in the mornings to see how fast I can go without bumping into things. I check out what new places I can squeeze into. Now I’m working on the studio closet. The door doesn’t close all the way so I let out all my breath and squeeze in to check out all the neat boxes and things in there. Maybe there’s something good to nibble on.

Perhaps I should mention that I myself get into zero mischief since I’m so well behaved. Axel, on the other hand, well you can draw your own conclusions. He’s still obsessed about what’s inside the Big Silver Box. I thought he would be over that by now. He still mumbles about new adventure plans as he shuffles about in his hay box.

We went on our very first Easter egg hunt. We followed and scratched some little yellow eggs scattered around the house that eventually led us to a delicious nest of fresh spring greens. We were so excited! I did binkies and hopped about. We played with our new willow ball and after a while we passed out because we were so tired. That evening we got extra hay in our box.

We think bunnies are special little creatures that deserve love and care throughout the holidays as well as into the following years. What is all the hype about us rabbits on Easter anyway?

Hop on,

Abby & Axel
